Linda Park, PhD, NP, FAAN, FAHA, FPCNA is the Nursing Program Director of the National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP) at UCSF. She is deeply committed to mentorship and considers it her most important responsibility in the NCSP and as a Professor in the School of Nursing. She is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, advancing health equity, and supporting scholars in building impactful careers in research, leadership, and health system improvement.

Her program of research focuses on secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. As a clinical trialist, she develops, evaluates, and implements innovative digital health interventions that improve self-care, patient engagement, clinical outcomes, and quality of life for individuals living with ischemic heart disease and heart failure. Her work integrates quantitative and qualitative methods to develop patient-centered interventions that are scalable and clinically meaningful. Several of her current projects are related to cardiac rehabilitation. She also holds an appointment as a Research Health Science Specialist at San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she conducts research related to improving cardiovascular outcomes for Veterans. Her research is supported through the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other sources. 

In addition to her scholarly work, Linda maintains an active clinical practice as a cardiology nurse practitioner and works at a medical center for Cardiovascular Services. Linda is also actively engaged in national and international leadership. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association and leads initiatives within the American Heart Association related to mentorship. She is also an affiliate faculty member of the UCSF Institute for Health Policy Studies and the University of Sydney.
