Dr. Edgar Asiimwe completed his residency in internal medicine at UCLA. He grew up in Kampala, Uganda and moved to the U.S. for college at La Roche, where he studied Biology. After college, he studied Global Health at Duke, then spent 2 years as a health technology analyst in the health insurance industry. Following this, he completed medical school at Stanford.
Research Interests: Using epidemiologic methods to investigate the drivers of disparities in oncologic outcomes and to design effective interventions.
